You’ve heard about Playbox and see the word “POP” often but don’t know exactly what it is yet? This article is here to enlighten you.

“POP” is an abbreviation for the Playbox Online Platform. The POP is an ecosystem that brings together different components such as the client portal (which will be useful in your case), the administrator portal (allowing us to add content to the game catalog), the tablet (allowing you to launch your games on your Playbox), the cloud and the service behind it allowing us to link all the components together.

With the purchase of a Playbox unit, you get access to the POP and more precisely to the customer portal and tablet application.

The client portal

In this platform you can find different information about your Playbox units, consult your data and download game licenses.


The dashboard is your homepage. You can see some key performance indicators such as the number of rounds played, the number of players, the number of different games played and the most played game. These key performance indicators can be analyzed over a day, a week, a month, a year or over a period of time that you have selected.

The analysis can be done for one Playbox or all at the same time (if you have several Playbox units).  You can also filter to have a more in-depth analysis for a specific game or a specific unit.  

A complete report can be downloaded with the raw data to be able to draw observations if you wish.

My library

My library is the place where you can find all the games that you have installed on each individual unit.

The status tells you whether the game is ready to be started for the first time, active or inactive. Depending on the business model you select, your license may be valid for life. If it is not, you will be given an expiration date indicating when your license ends, with the option to “auto-renew” where you will receive an email telling you that your game is about to expire and is in your cart for the next purchase.

The “My units” section is where you will find all your Playbox units with all the necessary information about the physical unit and updates.

If a problem is detected, you will be able to know which component is affected. By going to the support page, you will have all the information you need to solve this problem.


The store is where you can find our game catalogue and the different categories present in order to better meet the needs of your customers.

In this page you will also find the new games available, the games most loved by the community and the most downloaded games of the month.

When viewing all games, you will find the main information such as the title, game mode (co-op, competitive or solo), the number of players required, game lengths and rating.

When viewing a specific game you will have all the necessary information to understand the game. Information like which category it is part of, the game modes available, a description of the game, game rules, keywords as well as gameplay video and images.

On this page, you will be able to download the game on your Playbox or to save it in your favorites, easily found afterwards in “My library”.


This page allows you to find all the information related to your account, allowing you to update your information and password. You can choose if you would like to subscribe to our newsletter to receive the latest news and if you prefer to have the platform in light or dark mode. You can also add users to your portal who can interact with the platform.

The customer portal is offered in two modes, giving you the choice of the color you prefer:  light and dark.
